Several Opinions on Promoting the Work of Research Centers of AMESD, CUEB
In order to further improve the daily management of AMESD and promote the development of the research centers, the following suggestions are made on strengthening and improving scientific research work of the research centers:
1) Strengthening the Workflow Management for Scientific Research
The workflow of scientific research, from project-approval to final project and evaluation, is managed overall with focus on implementation. The checking-up system will be implemented for approved project group each semester (year), evaluating scientific research works of the centers regularly (end of every semester). Adhering to the publicity system to research achievements, the annual achievements will be published every year.
2) Completing the Facility Management for Scientific Research Work
Necessary research facilities and working conditions such as research rooms will be provided according to the need of the research. The research centers are obliged to treasure research facilities and make daily maintenance. AMESD has the power to retrieve the facilities if they are not used properly.
3) Perfecting Fund Management for Scientific Research
To effectively support all kinds of scientific research projects, AMESD will arrange specialized funding annually for scientific research investment and supporting dominant projects, organize and guide the centers to apply for scientific research projects and subsidize them based on concrete situations and the levels of projects.
4) Giving into Full Play and Strengthening the Functions of the Academic Committee
The check and supervision of the Academic Committee will help to constantly improve the quality of scientific research achievements, to boost healthy development of academic and scientific research works within AMESD and the level of education.
5) Enhancing Academic Ethics
AMESD should strengthen education guidance, promote the academic self-discipline and construct the long-term system of scientific research credibility and academic ethics.
