Call for Papers for 2011 Capital Circle Development Forum
“2011 Capital Circle Development Forum – Promoting Economic Integration in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Area” is scheduled to be held in Beijing from Dec.3rd to Dec.4th in 2011. Sponsored by Capital University of Economy and Business (CUEB), the forum is supported by Beijing Development Institute, Peking University, Research Institute of Regional Economy and Urban Administration, Renmin University of China, Binhai Research Institute in Tianjin, Beijing Economic & Social Development Policy Research Base, and undertaken by College of Urban Economy and Public Administration and Scientific Research Office of CUEB.
I. Theme
This forum, with “Promoting Economic Integration in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Area” as its theme, will mainly discuss some significant theoretical and practical problems such as the development trend of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Area, economic reformation and industrial upgrading, evolution and optimization of space structure, integration of local economy, bearing capability of resources and environment, creation of capital economic circle, construction of Binhai New Area, Pan-Beijing Economic Zone and Hebei Coastal Development Zone during the "12th Five-Year Plan" period. In order to enhance its quality and academic influence, this forum prioritizes “dissertation” with the hope that experts and scholars will submit papers during the call for paper period from Oct.1st to Nov.20th in 2011. All dissertations accepted by this forum will be compiled into conference proceedings, and their authors will be invited to attend the forum for academic communication.
II. Topics
The forum accepts dissertations relevant to the following topics:
1) Research on Development Trend of Capital Circle in China;
2) Research on the Evolution of Space Structure in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Area;
3) Research on Economic Reformation and Industrial Upgrading in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Area;
4) Research on the Resources, Environment and Bearing Capability of Capital Circle;
5) Promoting Economic Integration of J Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Area;
6) Creation of Capital Economic Circle;
7) Construction of Capital-Rim Economic Circle;
8) Construction of Binhai New Area;
9) Construction of Hebei Coastal Development Zone;
10) Relevant Issues about Metropolis Circle Development.
III. Composing Requirements
1) Format: The paper should be printed with Microsoft Word on A4 papers. Page number and headers are not allowed, but there may be footers.
2) Content: The paper should be complete and concise with the “conclusion”. It shall be composed with computer with images, diagrams and tables relevant to the main argumentations. The editors have the right to revise and delete if there any ambiguities or over length.
3) Structure: The paper’s structure shall follow the sequence of title, author’s name, author’s employer, abstract, key words, text, reference.
