CBD Research Base Visits Tianhe CBD in Guangzhou
From June 23rd to 24th 2011, Professor Jiang Sangeng, executive officer of CBD Research Base was invited to pay an academic visit to Tianhe CBD in Guangzhou.
During his visit, Xu Hantian, head of Tianhe District, Guangzhou, Lin Ling, General Director of the Committee’s Publicity Department and standing member of Tianhe Party Committee, Qiu Weiqing, Vice Head of Tianhe District received Professor Jiang Sangeng with great hospitality. The head of the district introduced the development of Tianhe CBD, while Jiang introduced the status quo of CBD development construction both at home and abroad and the works of Beijing CBD Research Base. Li Xiaojuan, Standing Deputy Director of Tianhe CBD Administration Committee, Zhang Haibo, Executive Deputy Director of Tianhe CBD Administration Committee, had an in-depth informal discussion with Jiang on the development of Tianhe CBD.
Jiang accompanied by Zhang and his entourages paid a visit to the main business buildings and underground construction facilities of Tianhe CBD. Jiang indicated that market-oriented and service-centered working approaches of Tianhe CBD could make contribution to continuous development of CBD. Tianhe CBD underground construction facilities had their own special features, which were rare to see among all the CBDs around the nation. On June 24th, Jiang was invited to make an academic report on CBD for more than 300 mid-ranked officials.
