Academic Innovative Team of “Research on Eco-Civilization Construction in Capital Circle” Holds Expert Demonstration Meeting
On April 16th 2011, led by Professor Peng Wenying from the College of Urban Economics and Public Administration, the Academic Innovative Team of “Research on Eco-Civilization Construction in Capital Circle” held the team establishment ceremony & expert argumentation meeting in West International Trade Hotel. The participants included researcher Gu Shuzhong, Vice Chief of Resource and Environment Policy Institute, Development Research Center of the State Council, researcher Zhang Wenzhong, Vice Director of Research Office of Economic Geography and Regional Development, Institute of Geographical Sciences and Natural Resources Research, CAS, Professors Zhao Ye and Zhang Keli from College of Geography, Beijing Normal University, Professor Wang Xiaoyan from College of Resource Environment and Tourism, Capital Normal University, Doctor Liu Jianmin, Vice Director of Development and Reform Commission of Haidian District, Professor Zhang Qiang, leader of regional Economic disciplines within CUEB and other team members.
The Academic Innovative Team of “Research on Eco-Civilization Construction in Capital Circle” is one of the “Talent Cultivation” projects of Beijing Municipal Commission of Education. This team was established based on the demand for eco-civilization construction theory research, actual demand for Beijing eco-civilization construction and the teaching features in regional economy of CUEB. To start the research, the team’s establishment and expert argumentation was of great significance to identify clear research goal and science problems, and rationally analyze research contents and efficiently build up the team.
The team leader, Professor Peng Wenying, made a report on research reasons, research approaches and contents, organization and work division on behalf of the team members followed by discussions with the experts and team members.
